GERB (Qingdao) Vibration Control Co., Ltd. has been set up in December 1997 as a subsidiary of GERB Schwingungsisolierungen GmbH & Co. KG, Berlin/Germany - located in Qingdao, Shandong Province to develop the Chinese market for vibration control.
At GERB (Qingdao) we cover the full range of services provided generally by GERB worldwide:
- consultation for the design and the construction of machine foundations and trackbed systems
- planning and design of tailor-made machine foundations resp. mass-spring-systems, incl. static and dynamic analysis
- supply of detailed construction drawings and on customer's request also supervision and acceptance of the construction work
- quotations, manufacturing of spring elements and Viscodampers®, erection services as well as measurements for vibration -, structure-borne noise - and noise control (on customers' request).
Products and services

GERB (Qingdao) Vibration Control Co., Ltd. as a subsidiary of GERB Germany, is able to offer complete vibration control solutions in all fields including industry, power plants, subways and buildings & structures.
The spring elements supplied by GERB usually consist of helical steel springs, viscous damper(s) and steel structures. The springs are specially designed for the purpose of vibration control. Viscous damper (Visco-damper®) was invented by GERB in year 1939.
In the field of industry, GERB technologies and products are mainly applied to:
- hammers and presses for metal forming
- high precision machining and measuring equipment
- various rotating equipment
- various testing devices
